Can my girlfriend get health problems from oral sex?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I had prostatitis from enterococcus for 4 months. All that time my doctor suggested quinolones and docycline with an alpha blocker because i had difficulty to urinate. One month ago i got better and my doctor told me to stop taking antibiotics for now and wait. Now,one month after that i feel ok, no pain, not spasms, no weird pain when ejacuating, but i have a phobia, if the becteria is in my prostate until now can i have oral sex from my girlfriend? Or she may get health problems from that. If yes, it's the same if i got prostatitis again or does not matter?

Thanks for your help, i did not find any information for that anywhere.

You should probably call your Doctor with that question.

I'm a little shy to ask him something like that, so if someone knows it gonna help me avoid it.

      Thanks for your answer!

Your doctor has had far more personal questions than that one, particualrly urologists and proctologists.

I haven't had prostatitis in quite a while, so our situations are different, but I've had BPH for five years and my wife and I have had oral sex, mutually supportive, with no transmission of anything.

So, unless your girlfiend is also the doctor's girlfriend, I'd say you should call the office and tell his nurse that you have a very personal question you'ld like to discuss with him, only.

On this site you have a lot of guys who have put "embarassment" behind them a long time ago; it's the only way we can deal with these many issues, as well as some diagnostic tests that have total strangers, usually females, handling parts of you that are normally reserved for people you have married or dated seriously.

You will be aware of the problems with Finasteride if you take it.

Both dutasteride and finasteride are excreted in semen and use of a condom is recommended if sexual partner is pregnant or likely to become pregnant. Women of childbearing potential should avoid handling crushed or broken tablets of finasteride and leaking capsules of dutasteride.
