Can not get a break with skin issues down there...

I have been using a new hydrocortisone cream called procure which has seemed to help keep the flares away and my skin feels better than it has in a year. Have been using it for a week and it is doing a great job if controlling itch and healing my skin.
Yeasterday I noticed my c section ara was a bit itchy but looked normal and the itch went away. Now tonight I looked at the area to see the angriest red rash all across my belly by the C-section scar. Keep in mind my "baby" is 14 years old.
Thinking it is most likely a yeast infection but I have never had one like this before now. I put on yeast medicine hopefully that will help calm it.

Hi Beth `
odd isn't it? I too have a "bikini cut" c-section scar way down low across the top of my pubic bone. By any chance do you think you might have absent-mindedly brushed your hand across your belly there just after applying the hydrocortizone?
I wonder if the same admonition as for applying the corticosteroids like Clob (which I've never taken) to be ery careful to Only apply them on the injured skin and not outside it. Perahps normal skin reacts sensitively and differently to it? jsut a thought.

OH! by the by, I looked up Beth's Procure brand to find out what is in it.
Ya wanta know? besides the 1% hydrocortizone which works to reduce the itching, the supposedly "inactive" main ingredient is ALOE VERA!
GOT that folks? the aloe vera listed as an INactive ingredient is what has made Beth's skin feel better inside a week...
just a little humor of the Day....

What caught my attention is that it also has olive oil and coconut oil in it too! It's the trifecta without needing to put on three different things. Once I am ready to go hydrcortosun free I will try straight up aleo Vera.

Not sure, I know I scratched at the area a night or two ago but that could have been the beginning of the rash. Luckily it is not itchy. Was disappointed last night as I have given up sugar, have been eating the keto way for two months and I that now. I thought no sugar in diet meant nothing for yeast to feed on, turns out yeast likes keotones just as well. 😣

good morning Beth, smiles, here in the U.S. I wonder if the grapefruit seed extract that is known t clear up candida would work for you? Did you see that in my article? Also try to build up your nutritional status with Vitamin D3 and it's cofactors. They've been helping me.
