Can persons with tachycardia have dental procedures with anesthesia or numbing?

My doctors haven't diagnosed me with any specific aspect of tachycardia but from my extensive research I believe I have paroxysmal tachycardia. I have to do a dental surgery in a few months time to remove my wisdom teeth and a frenectomy. But I am nervous to go under in the case that something goes drastically wrong. Have any of you had any procedures involving anesthesia or numbing and it went well? Please help, thank you.

Yes, I had an endoscopy done a few months ago and was put under anesthesia. I told the anestheologist about having an irregular heart beat sometimes. He said he would watch for it and if it happened he could give me something - and I forget what he mentioned. But all was fine. Maybe just mention it to your anesthesiologist before the procedure to make him or her aware.

I have never been put to sleep, but I have had dental procedures done. Both my dentist and oral surgeon know my condition But I always remind them not to give me anything with epi in it. They have other numbing agents that do not have epi in them
