Can Prominent Veins be caused by PMR or PRED ?

Over the last 2 weeks I have sometimes had very prominent veins in my left arm/hand. This is most unusal for me - my veins and pulse have always been hard to find. I get so many new health issues come and go,  I don't want to race off to the Dr every time something weird happens. Has any one else experienced this ?

    You didn't mention your age but my veins on tops of hands have

    become more pronounced and bulge as I've aged.....

      I'm 65 and am currently obese. The veins really did go from invisible under the skin to very visible and laying on top of the skin, within a couple of weeks. They have returned to invisible again. As Anhaga says - a scary look.

      Flutterbie, mIne aren't going away, although early on someone told me to make sure I was well hydrated and that does seem to help a little bit, so I suppose it is something to do with the condition of the outer skin layer.  Hopefully not the condition of the veins because if it is that I'm in big trouble!
