Can Scar Tissue "Pop"?.

I am beside myseld.  Today at work I slipped moving a cart down a ramp and caught myself so that I did not fall.  I thank God for not falling, but I really jerked my right leg/hip. This hip was done with the anterior approach and is nearly three years old.  Has been absolutely no trouble at all, until now.

I continued working, came home, and when I was rising up from the toilet seat, my hip popped.  Now I have incredible pain, muscle spasms and FEAR.  I asked a good physical therapist about this and he examined me and said that he thinks I may have torn some scar tissue and that it can "pop" when it is torn.

Have any of you heard of this, or experienced this?

Thanks

Today the pain was less, so that is a good sign.  I cannot see my surgeon until latter April.  Very busy guy.  I still hope to hear if anyone else has torn scar tissue and what it felt like to them.  I went to work and it was a rough time.  My hip reminded me of slipping yesterday, but it does not hurt like it did yesterday.  Which is good, except that I had absolutely no pain in this hip prior to yesterday.

Thanks for your support everyione!  Just being able to tell someone about my experience yesterday is very nice.

Just heard from my surgeon and he wants to see me sooner, so this is a good thing.  He will be able to explain the reason for the discomforts and pain.

Excellent that he will see you sooner! It would have been ridiculous to wait until later in April for this.
