can side effects of meds be increased from weed

on saturday, i went to a concert. EVERYONE, and i mean everyone, was smoking weed. Next to me, in front of me, behind me... all you saw was smoke, and all you smelt was weed. Halfway during the show, i got insanely anxious and dizzy. The next day i had super bad vertigo, and i have been having really bad dizziness and nausea ever since. The week before, i started new meds.. prozac to be exact. Dizziness is a common side effect. I was having dizziness before, but ever since the concert the dizziness has upped. Sometimes i feel off balance, and sometimes i have to close my eyes because i get so dizzy that it feels like im going to have a seizure. Could second hand weed smoking increase med side effects?? i didnt smoke first hand.

    Hi

Weed causes depression if too much is smoked. I am unsure about passive smoking though.

There may have been that much smoke that it has added to the side effects of the drugs you are taking. On the other hand it could be the side effects of your medication kicking in and we all suffer in different ways. If you feel like you are going to have a seizure I would suggest you call your GP straight away and make an emergency appointment, they can fit you in if you explain the circumstances. Don't let them fob you off with an appointment next week. I hope you feel better soon.
