Can someone help? Stomach Pain, Hiatus Hernia, Back Pain etc

Hi All

I wonder if anybody can shed any light on what is wrong with me...

Starting a year ago I had very dry mouth, difficulty swallowing. Sent for Endoscopy and was told I have a Hiatus Hernia (small).

Given daily omeprazole ever since.

Around 4 months after that, I started to get these gurgles all day in my stomach like a drain, lots of gas, yellowy greasy stools, pain front centre of stomach and back and sometimes in bowel. I have been having them ever since, and now last few weeks have lots of gas and lots of worsening stomach pain that almost feels like cramps or contractions every time I eat..

I have been to many doctors who tell me not to worry, and am seeing a specialist now who has sent me for a colonoscopy which is coming up, after testing my blood and stools she said some marker showed which warrants the colonoscopy.

Does anybody have anything similar? I am getting really nervous as every time I google it, I see pancreatic/bowel/liver cancer matching my symptoms..

I now have a swollen neck lymph node as well that after a scan I was told is large like a £2 coin, but flat so I should not worry...

I have been ill for a year, constantly tired and feel I am getting nowhere and wondered if anybody has some advice?

I have wondered about that before, but I am not sure it would be that as the pain is higher up than the bowel its right in between my ribs where I think my stomach is sad

Have they ruled out your gall bladder ? I truly hope that they find out what's going on . It's horrible to hurt and be sick and they can't find anything .

Im having similar symptoms, except I had inflamed lymph nodes in my stomach lining(mesenteric adenitis). I have had CT scans, abdominal XRays, and a colonoscopy/endoscopy. My doctor found gastritis, hiatal hernia, and my biopsy results tested positive for H. Pylori. I was prescribed omeprazole, and 2 antibiotics. One of my coworkers told me about a natural approach using Manuka Honey and mastic gum, I'm starting that today

Don't be nervous, and don't make the same mistake I did by searching through dozens of websites for symptoms. It only increases your anxiety. I found myself obsessed with my tummy issue and constantly attempting to self diagnose the problem. I was scheduled for emergency colonoscopy/endoscopy two weeks ago. I ha never had an endoscopy before and I was sooo nervous. But I don't remember a thing, no pain or anything. And then I waited for my biopsy results. That was torture as I think about my stomach constantly. Now I'm not usually a nervous person, but since this started, I can't seem to get myself to relax. I'll give you the same advice my coworkers and family have given me: Find something to keep you busy. If your not in a lot of pain, go outside and get some fresh air and sun. Buy a good book, or coloring book. Binge watch something on tv. Trust me I feel your pain, and I hope you get better soon.. cyber hugs

Hi,I am new to this forum have you any updates on your illness .IHave been suffering stomach problems since xmas with a strange feeling in my lower abdomen and feeling sick ,have been to he doctor several times (never seeing the same one twice). Have had blood and stool tests and an ultra sound scan all tests were fine .I felt so desperate I went private a week ago and saw a gastro consultant who examined me thoroughly and went through my notes thoroughly and said he was sure there was nothing seriously wrong with me but said I should have the blood and stool tests again and be tested  for celiac . The feeling when at its height is unbearable ,especially when in bed and I have had many sleepless nights with my stomach bloated and churning with cold sweats and strangely my feet sweat profusely and are freezing cold.lncidently the consultant said he felt sure he would be wasting his time and my money if he gave me a colonoscopy or endoscopy.Any ideas please.

Hey Steve166, I say go for the colonoscopy/endoscopy. You know your body better than any doctor. I know my gastritis is better for the most part, but I still am norton 100% back to normal, so it's off to a new doctor this week. I'm determined to keep going until I'm better. Good luck and I hope you get well soon.
