Can someone please help me?

I'm new to this site, but I got really anxious today on the food I ate today, I ate a steak hamburger and forgot to chew it properly and I feel the sensation of it being there, but I'm breathing just fine and I'm able to eat food and drink water that goes down. This isn't the first time it happened to me, since it has happened a few times before and I never had to go to the ER for it. I'm really worried though if I might die even though it has been hours since I ate the steak and wondering if me drinking water will eventually moisten it enough to do down my esophagus easily. It's stuck in the center of my throat. Will I be okay? I know I suffer from post nasal drip as my doctor told me this before as I was concerned that a piece of bone got stuck in my throat and he found nothing and told me if there really was something stuck there, especially the middle I would be choking as soon as I swallowed it and wont be able to eat or drink anything with something stuck in my throat.

if you are breathing and able to eat and drink, then you are fine. Even if you have that sensation which is produced by anxiety, you are still OK. you are focusing way too much on that and that’s why you are feeling it all the time. What you are feeling is what they call a lump in the throat which is very common when somebody has anxiety and fear. There’s actually nothing there but it feels like there is. just go about your life because if you keep focusing on it it will keep feeling it. Life is too short to be miserable all the time.

Thank you Jan for the response. You're absolutely right on life is too short to be miserable all the time. I just hate that feeling everytime I eat something and it just always feels like something got stuck in my esophagus, even though I'm not choking to death or anything.
