My gf's period is 2 months late, she did 6 pregnancy tests (last one 6 days ago) and none came positive. She did go to a gynecologist and followed a treatment for some inflammation. She also consulted a second gyn which recommended a hormone based treatment which she refused to take. What could be the cause of this abnormality?

what age is she?
women's cycles can go out of wack from infections and some medications
to kick start it again would be what the gyno recommended

Yes, it helped a lot. She refused to take the hormone medication because she didn't want to gain weight.
