Hi Chris;yes it very well could be Fibro......I, too, have had a Lot of probs this past 12 months with my facial/cheek muscles and Jaw joints......and have been told that it is not only my Osteo, but also Fibro........yes, it is very painful and debilitating, as I now have to wear a brace to support these areas, and have difficulty talking and chewing......also when laying down, I find one side is less painful than the other (but as we all know, too, that this is not a possibility to Just stay on one side, as after every 2 hours, have to swap over, as hip area and shoulder area/s become too sore to stay on the one side)......Before getting the brace, my physio was able to massage/manipulate this area, which helped on the short-term.....the brace supports the area, but also makes it difficult to eat/talkĀ  (the specialist said..."that's why I want you to wear it ALL the time...to stop you talking"....he doesn't know me That much...as everyone says I like to talk).............the only medication that helps this is, for me anyway, Endone.......good luck.......Bron
