    Dear Emma,

The photo shows two small clusters of genital warts and a collection of vestibular papillomas (normal, not warts). You'll need to see a doctor to get some treatment and also a screen for other STDs. I've annotated your photo in case you're not sure where to apply the wart treatment if/when you get the prescription.

There's no urgency in getting the warts treated and you won't come to any harm if this is delayed. Stay healthy and don't smoke/stop smoking.

      Dear Adhari,

Thank you very much for replying.

If you do not mind I would like to ask more questions regarding genital warts.

Is it sexually transmitted disease? If I have it then does that mean I can transmit it to my boyfriend as well? Until I can get it treated, are there any measures I can adapt so it wont spread more?

      Sincerely,

      Emma

      Dear Emma,

      In answer to your questions:

      1. Yes, it's a sexually transmitted virus infection caused by HPV.
      2. Can your boyfriend get it? It depends if he infected you in the first place! If you think you acquired it from another partner/s, then the answer is probably 'Yes'. But if it was your current BF who infected you, you can't "give it back to him" because he's already infected. If you're not sure how or when you acquired it and your partner currently doesn't have any genital warts, the two of you might prefer to have sex wearing condoms to prevent cross-infection. Does that make sense?
      3. How to limit its spread? Stay healthy & don't smoke. Obviously, treating the warts will also reduce the chances of it spreading as you're eliminating areas of heavily-infected skin.

      Rgds,

      Dear Adhari,

      Thank you once again.

Can I ask some more questions? I am sorry, I just am really curious and scared as I do not have anyone else to talk to.

I was wondering does it get bad if i keep touching? because these days I have been looking and touching down there a lot. I checked again and I feel like its more red. And also I am having a lot of vaginal discharge with milky discharge with white and yellow cheese like particle. Is it because of the warts?

      Sincerely,

      Emma

Sounds like you may have thrush, which is unrelated to warts. There's no risk to touching the warts but you should try not to.
