Just had endoscopy done and post op diagnosis gastritis, ? Barrett esophagus. Put on Pantoprazole 40 Mg for 30 days twice a day then one a day after. Will this medication help me burp it's awful when you can't. Only way is to gag myself and I fart all the time can't burp. What to do.

I literally can't burp haven't be able to since over 30 years the only way is to gag myself and it's forced up like an explosion. Thought my scope would shed some light but seems not. The only way is to get down on my hand and knees or lay on left side and fart but sometimes that doesn't work. I need some answers please.
