Can't find suitable size post-op dressing

Posted , 2 users are following.

Just had a hernia repair, left hospital with a 12cmx4cm dressing on the wound. Surgeon said he would give me a couple of spares but didn't (admin error?).

I'm trying to find where I can buy this size but can't find anything anywhere - national chemists, Amazon or Google. The ones that are long enough are far too wide.

Can anyone help?

Ron if you are in UK the nurse who was in charge of your discharge should have given them to you. Get in touch with the Consultants secretary who may be able to get some dressings sent to you. You could also try your doctors surgery. I seem to remember this size is very difficult to find anywhere.
