Can't find the proper medication for high BP desperately need guidance.

High BP. Was put on amlodipine, but it gave me weird side effects. So doctor told me to stop taking. I'm now on Busiprone for anxiety instead to help combat this, it works, however it only last a couple hours and later I get rapid heart beats. It comes and goes. I need a proper medication with no side effects to be treated properly.
