Can't get rid of these intrusive thoughts

Hi

Me again I'm day 12 of 100mg sertraline I think things are improving I don't feel as depressed and the anxiety has nearly all gone I have moments where I feel ok, but I'm really struggling with intrusive thoughts I'm getting really worried that they won't go has anyone got an encouraging stories or advice please x

    the intrusive thoughts will def go away soon so just try and do stuff until then to take your mind off yourself

    you are only on day 12 so that's very early days, but dont worry, as the weeks go on, you will get better and better  (you really will although i know it doesnt feel like it)

      Hi thank you for commenting it's really nice when someone says they will go it gives me hope,I know I should be feeling good that I'm feeling better but I think the thoughts have been the worst thing for me I'm hoping sertraline does the trick hope you are well

    Hey Katy. I just started on 100mg a week ago, after being on 50mg for a month. I think it may be working or it's a placebo effect. Guess I'll see. Dealing with some rather severe G.I. problems. Hoping they will even out. Hang in there!

      Thank you,I know I have to give it more time but feel like there's something wrong with me why the strange intrusive thoughts,really hope you continue to feel better x
