Can't have children?

Hi all am a 37 yo man and my partner she's 41... We have been together since I was 16 so 2 2 years this year.

The question I have is we have never actually tried to have a baby it we have had unprotected sex since I was 17 she's never had the pill etc... and I have never wore a condom.

We have sex regularly maybes 3/4 times a week, but when I am about to ejaculate I pull out and finish with my hand as far as I know I have never actually ejaculated inside her.

But surely the pull out method should not have lasted 21 years without her falling pregnant? As I have read that pre ejaculation can get a women pregnant.
