Can't move / numbness in baby toe

A week and a bit ago (June 25) I broke and dislocated my ankle pretty severely. It was compromised, so cutting off blood supply to my foot. I left it overnight before going to A&E so when I arrived it was 'dusky and mottled' (a bit grey and dead-looking) and swiftly got me seen, where they x-rayed it and then manipulated it back into place. They put a splint on it and then I waited 5 days until my operation (ORIF). They fixed my ankle up by putting pins and screws, making it very sturdy! They put a moon boot on and said I could partially weight bare when it's feeling okay, building up to full weight baring in a few weeks.

I am 6 days post-op and things are moving in the right direction. Pain has subsided and I am feeling a lot better. The only thing is that I can't move or feel my baby toe. I can feel all the rest and move them, but the baby toe is numb (but a bit tingly) and I can't move it at all.

I know it's not a major concern, but should I be worried? Should I get this looked at? I have a check up with the doctor soon (July 12). Will this be temporary or should I be worried that I wont be able to move it for the rest of my life?
