absolutely! It’s very common in people with anxiety. It got to the point where I just had to either get out of bed or completely shut the thoughts out. I refused to lay there anymore torturing myself. The only way I could shut the thought out was by turning on a meditation for anxiety on my iPad and listening. When there was somebody else talking I did not have the intrusive thoughts. You can also listen to Nature Sounds or whatever helps you. But don’t just lay there in your own thoughts. It’s mental torture. There are hundreds of meditations on there and they are very relaxing and I fall asleep before they are over. I like using the earbuds because it’s so effective! Anyway I do hope you get some help and try this because it distracts the mind it helps you relax. There are some great meditations called detachment from over thinking, etc. Check them out. Take care
