I know that I don't know you but remember this: what you are experiencing can be something related to depression, and this is a physical condition (not just in your head!). I had exactly the same happening to me when I was in a depression. You should realize that your lack of sleep could be simply a physical reaction to sickness, which is what depression is. So treat it like that. Consider your lack of sleep to be related to this sickness and try to treat the sickness. Ask for help to treat the sickness, like you would ask a doctor to treat your stomach pain. Don't feel extra bad if you can't fix it yourself. I couldn't back then. Some people can fix it on their own when the depression is not too strong, like people who take paracetamol for a mild stomach pain. But mine was too strong, but with some help I DID get it fixed. I'm now healed and happy and sleeping well. I hope you will heal soon too. I wish you a good recovery! You are not alone in this!

Just be careful with these types of drugs.. I had to take them too, but I followed EXACTLY the times I should take them and how to stop them (carefully and slowly). I took them (cipralex) for half a year then I got off them slowly. It all worked out in the end. It was not a bad experience.

But I think after all what really cured me is that I found again hope in life, I stopped feeling guilty about all the bad decisions I did in my life and I stopped looking to the future in such a bad way. The medicine helped, but it was after all my decision to forgive myself and be ok with me.

Had similar problems as you describe. Including nightmares. Also hands falling asleep while sleeping and the numbness wakes me up. Heart noise in the ear. Face burning feeling when waking up.

It was hard to figure it out, but for me it is Electromagnetic Sensitivity. It causes anxiety, depression, heart problems, definitely sleep problems.

I was able to reverse my problems significantly by avoiding Wifi and installing shielding to block neighbors wifi from entering my house. I also turn off the electricity at night at the fuse panel.

I think the problems you describe could be caused by many different things. Just giving you an idea, in case this might be the cause for you too. It's extremely difficult to figure this out because doctors don't believe it, and hardly anyone even knows about it or that this is even possible.

You could find a company that specializes in EMF detection to check your place and see if you have high levels too.
