Can't take deep breath!

Hi,

Anyone else feel like this? When I inhale, the inhale seems to get "lost" on its way down into my lungs. It doesn't feel like a deep, satisfying, complete breath. It makes me so uncomfortable and panicky. I keep monitoring my breathing, and using a lot of effort to get those "satisfying" inhales. I have tried breathing exercises, rescue inhalers, antacids, and nothing is working. Although I do have general anxiety, I don't have any current stress, so not sure why I am having symptoms now. I had this 10-12 years ago, but it went away on its own after a few years. Anyone else have these symptoms? I don't want to take meds, but will CBT help?

Do you have this symptom all day?? Are you experiencing stress right now? It is difficult to get a deep breath in. It feels like it gets stuck in my throat or lost somewhere.

I'm so sorry, I know how horrible it can be. What have you tried? Is it getting better? What triggered it to start?
