Can taking a blood test while body is fighting an infection affect results?

noticed spike in creatinine and protein in blood after taking non fasting blood test and having swollen groin lymphnodes.

    Yes it definitely will and your doctor will look at the results and treat you for the infection and either do a follow up with more blood tests after your course of treatment or wait a month and do it then, all of this will depend on the area your infection is causing the problem
