hi everyone.
so ive heared so many great reviews about the isla soap stick and how its clearing up bacterial vaginosis. My question is, has anyone here actually tried it?. how long ago and do you still suffer from bv??

washing with any kind of soap will not treat a vaginal infection only antibiotics or over the counter products will as its an infection thats inside the vagaina even washing soap on the outside just cleans the outside and dosnt deal with the infection on the inside

i had bv 4 years the only thing that worked for me was clindamycin antibiotic vaginal cream i havnt had bv for 7 months now i tried metronidiazole and over the counter products but they never worked for me everyones different wat didnt work for me has worked for others so its a case of trying different things but as far as soaps concerned it may deal with the outside of the vagina but it wont get rid of an internal infection

what i would suggest if u are using the soap stick is to do a round of antibiotics first then hit it with the soap stick after most women they do a round of metronidiazole then insert the soap after to give it a bit of a double whammy but as far as using it alone is concerned its like all the other products that claim to get rid of bv theres no guarantee
