Can the weather make things worse?

HI

I'm in Florida and this tropical depression is upon us and I was curious can the weather cause worsening feelings.  I woke up this morning feeling very tired and now i'm at work and sitting here and I'll I can feel is like I'm moving up and down on a float and like I"m falling backwards, Ive also got a headache on the top of my head.  But I had an eply done 2 days ago and have been wearing the neck collar so I don't think I slept to well and its uncomfortable so that could be doing this as well.  But in the past I've noticed the storms coming in I feel more dizzy.

I have to tell you, I hate how this stuff goes through the entire body not just the head, but it feels like your moving all the time.

Hi. I was in Florida in June and I have to say I thought I would be really bad what with vertigo and then flying for 9hrs. However I only seemed to have 2 bad days and most of the time like you I felt floaty! The headache and how your feeling can just be from the flight as you can suffer 'flight headaches'.. I would google flight headache and check your symptoms against that. Hope that helps so you can enjoy the rest of your hol

Yes.  You will find that weather change is a migraine trigger.  Those who suffer migraines are impacted by pressure changes as well as heat and humidity.  Look up barometric pressure migraines.

YES . I live in upstate NY. The weather change definatly is a factor. Fall and spring is the worst. Any allergies will. Golden Rod and a few other weeds all gone to seed already. Had a cold snap. I got my vertigo same time. A cold that ends up in your ears can trip it as well. If I swallow and hear my ears crackle I panic.

Hi a cold snap that was exactly how my vertigo started. Four years later I still have bad weeks and great months!! I have to stay off work when it's really bad as I operate machinery. Also I was told by my doctor Friday that I have TMD this can also caus dizziness along with a lot of other aches n pains!!

Hi Patty. Weather definitely makes my dizziness worse. I get what I call "giant head syndrome" where it's difficult to even hold my head up and my own voice is the loudest thing I hear. I can take antihistamines or just wait it out. Rainy weeks are killer!
