Can there be a hormonal relationship between my period and my depressive disorders?

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi. My problem is that I usually have depressive episodes that I am treating with a psychologist, but I have noticed that about 1-2 days before my period the depressive disorder is very intense.

Does anyone know if there can be a hormonal relationship?

Thank you all.

Periods can entice anxious emotions. What comes can go, if it persists then there is a problem. Hormones on periods can cause a woman to feel anxious. Its a normal and natural thing that happens to a lot of women. If problem persists you may need to speak to the specialist you are currently seeing, on a resolution to the matter.
