Can this be Anxiety of something else? I need help

Hii huys, I;m 36 years old Male from Nigeria and I don't even know how to start because I've heard this issue for about 7 years now and it has deteriorated over the years. It started mildly at the beginning and came and went but over the years it has become worse and permanent. I don't even know how to describe my symptoms because they are numerous and come and go but i'll try my best and try to state the most recent symptoms that I've had in the past few years.

The main symptom that has taken a toll is the fact that my head feels heavy, my brain feels fuzzy. Let's just say I have a weak brain and I'm not as smart as I used to be. I can hardly remember things neither can I learn new things.

The second main symptom is body weakness and fatique. What makes this one very bad is that i'm always feeling tired even if I sleep for one week uninterrupted.

When I try to do exercises, the weakness becomes worse and can feel weaker for some days. Infact, any form of physical activity just makes things worse.

What could be wrong with me? What tests should I take? I need help.

    Hello,

Yes, these symptoms are quite common with anxiety or depression.

Have you ever mentioned your symptoms to a doctor? If so, what did they say?

I would start by getting a full blood test done, just in case you are low in iron or vitamin B, D, etc. and if all is well then you should try to get some help to treat the anxiety/depression.

    Good luck!
