    To my knowledge you can flare without bleeding for me that usually comes later for me although people are different could be anything for you mabey a start of one or mabye a slight flare up symptoms until you have a blood test or procedure to really no if you worried tho before your appointment you could always ask your doctor for a blood test as you think you might be haveing a flare up best to get treated soon as hope all goes well for you

    Get yourself mesalamine suppositories and put couple in at a time

    If the proctitis has progressed to ulcerative colitis then get mesalamine enemas

    Keep using them even after symptoms stop! Yes enema is no fun but nobody said it was easy to heal internal trauma..use enema in bed not bathroom, so you can go to sleep after administering, you may feel icky a little inside, but it goes away in 30 min or less, put towel down on bed and couple pillows under hips to use gravity to bring the stuff up in to your intestines

    Do the following for at least a year;

    Stop eating red meat & dairy

    Drink up to a liter of coconut water a day

    Eat 3 coconut milk yogurts a day

    Drink a sip a day of inner-eco LIVE probiotic coconut water

    Peace, also control anger and stress and don't strain on toilet, let it come your bowel movement happen on it's ownsmile colonoscopy is probably going to make things worsesad sorry

      If your Gi won't give it to you then ask your primary, tell him you havw read some info on internet about mesalamine helping

      The doctors can say no all they want but you are the patient and you can keep asking till they say yes, it's not like it's a have the power and if you don't, then take it back!
