Yes i can, always have been able to feel submental nodes on both sides under my jaw/chin. Nodes can remain enlarged for long periods after the infection they were fighting, in your case an ulcer, has cleared. They may never revert back to their original size and feel. I read somewhere that becuase the nodes under the Jaw do alot of work, even when things like ulcers are not present, they can easily become blocked or stay large as they are in an almost permanent state of activity. Therefore, yours is a common complaint, don't worry about it at all smile Keep an eye on them though, as with all nodes,  if you ever noticed that they were slowly and consistently growing over time with no apparent cause let your doctor know. The general rule is nodes under 1.5cm in size are nothing to be concerned about, whereas nodes that are bigger, not movable, painless and that feel gritty or matted together with other nodes should be shown to your doctor but are still very likely not caused by Lymphoma. The fact yours are painful and tender means that its nothing to worry about!
