Most exercises are for positional vertigo. I just met with the Vestibular Rehab at the U of M and learned a lot. This was my scoring
Does this mean I'm a dizzy clumsy broad? Lol
The Dizziness Handicap Inventory was administered today with a score of 94/100. The higher the score, the greater perceived disability related to dizziness (0-30 = mild disability, 31-60 = moderate disability, 61-100 severe disability). The Activities-Specific Balance Confidence Scale (ABC) was completed by the patient today with a score of 39%; the ABC-6 score was 20%. Scores of less than 67% on the ABC correlate with an increased fall risk.
He said they can teach me exercises to help with my balance and safety measures when I have vertigo. But exercise is good for your wellbeing all around.

Good morning, I have had vertigo many times and 3 strokes. I finally got into avertigo specialist and he does help a lot. Although I stil get vertigo from my Ménière’s disease. You need to learn the exercises and do them at home also.

Ali,
By now you may have given it a try. One of the things I have noticed is that different things work for different people, so I am hoping it worked for you.
I always tell people -- stop ingesting aspartame, the sweetener in many diet drinks and gum and some sauces and other foods. From my own experience, I know it triggers Meniere's episodes that are very severe. It costs nothing to drop aspartame from your diet for a few weeks to see if that helps. It did for me.
Good luck with your Menieres.

Hi Denny I've had this disease for 3 decades now and many times I thought I had discovered the cause of my Menieres and the triggers only to be disappointed later down the line this disease is a nasty one that gives you hope only to shatter it months later your theory needs years of research and thousands of volunteers if this works for you for now then good luck Denny regards Johno

I have a plan to visit a chiropractor who is trained in blair techniques of fixing neck alignment. I think it is worth trying, may or may not work for me.
I have severe pain in my shoulder for last one year but GP is saying it is just normal, ignore it. May be a physiotherapist can look into it.
I had a major attack 3 months ago and 2 minor attacks due to food allergy, i have stopped eating all sorts of bread, it is helping me, low salt and 3 tabs of betahistine is working well so far. I do have tinnitus but i have to live with that.

Of course you are right - science demands lots of testing and data before conclusions can be made.
I offer the information that aspartame (artificial sweetener) is a trigger for my Meniere's episodes only as a suggestion to others who 1) are not finding relief in other ways, and, 2) might want to try an idea that costs nothing and might help them. I'm not selling anything here, and not claiming I have scientific proof. It works for me; it might be worth a try for others.
