Can you act as if you are drunk with MS ?

Hi Guys,

Would just like to find out if a symptom of MS/CFS can result in sounding and acting as if you are drunk?

Thank you,

Grace.

I was diagnosed as having cfs a few years ago but it turned out I was suffering from non coeliac gluten intolerance. Gluten ataxia has these symptoms.

I've never actually been drunk (avoid alcohol like the plague...) so take everything I say with a grain of salt!! but...

I remember thinking, when I used to have to catch public transport during the worst points in my illness, "everyone must think I'm drunk" because I was so disorientated, wobbly on my feet, slow reaction times, lying down on the pavement at the tram stop, etc...I think the effects of CFS on the brain could certainly make someone appear to be drunk.

But do you *feel* drunk with CFS? That's another question. I think it feels more like what I imagine a hangover to be.
