Can you get pregnant on Depo?

hello, so i am on the depo shot (due for a shot next month) and i honestly have not had protective sex at all in the last few months. (me and my partner have been together for awhile, we have 1 kid together) but i was wondering if this could just be normal with BC or could i be getting my period or be pregnant? i got blood work done the other day to check my kidneys and liver function but they didnt mention i was pregnant but i dont know if they would or not or if it would be to early to tell.

    Typically, Depo Provera is 97% effective. This means three out of 100 people using Depo Provera will get pregnant each year. If you have your injections on time (every 12 weeks) it can be more than 99% effective
