Can you take gabapentin and citalopram together

Is anyone taking gabapentin and citalopram together cpn is stoping my diazepam 2 mg to put me on gabapentin any advice would be greatful as she thinks I should still stick to my 30mg of citalopram even tho I'm getting terrible anxiety.

    Hi Dawn,

    I take Pregablin 50 mg's a day at night and this is under the Gapapentin family.

    I also have 5 mgs of diazepam at night.

    When I was really low and depressed, my dr prescribed me Citalopram and I found myself bouncing off walls with the side effects so went onto Mitz instead.

    This may work better for you - it's worth getting a second opinon from another Dr. if you're not happy.

    Hi Dawn, I am taking Citalopram and Gaberpentin without any problems. I take 10mg of Citalopram because of the side effects, i wanted the lower dose, and i take 900mg of Gaberpentin. The Gaberpentin help me sleep as well which is great as i was an insomniac for years. Hope this helps.

      Hi I take 300mg of gabapetin but have been given citalopram to but scared to take them course of side effects when is the best time to take them I take my gabapetin at not just to sleep I would be grateful for any advice
