Can your ear specialists give advice via email?

Hey guys!

From my experience, I noticed that some specialists do not like to be asked too many questions. I would like to know if any of you guys also found it hard to ask doctors questions either directly or via email? I consulted a doctor in Singapore and they only way to get some answers is by asking him questions but he told me that he does not do email consultation and would be best to ask my local specialist back in Australia...

Your consultant in Singapore would be reluctant to answer your questions because he cannot see you or examine your ears.   Your condition may have changed since he saw you and he may not even remember you so he is absolutely correct not to answer your questions. If he did he may be giving you incorrect information and he has his reputation to think about.

He is quite correct in advising you to see your local specialist for an examination and advice.
