how will i know i have cancer as i have lost sum weight

    They have specific blood tests for cancer.

    However, a Dr. would probably start out with the normal complete blood count tests...and if your white blood count is low..than you would have a basis for further testing.

    Most Drs. won't perform exploratory tests for cancer unless there is a symptom that is worrisome...losing weight? How much and how fast?

    Stress and various other factors can cause us to lose weight.

    Have you had a complete blood count with your Dr?

    The CBC will indicate if you need further testing. Different cancers have different symptoms. I was producing to many white blood cells, and they stopped the production of red blood cells and platelets. Take in all of the info and make your OWN decisions.
