Candesarten tablets

I have been on these tablets (8mg) for approx 7 1/2 months, only recently i have been experiencing lower back pain and it now seems as if it is starting at lower back and moving up toward middle of back. I have had my urine tested and is shows no sign of an infection. I plan to visit my doctor again, as I am concerned that it could be a side affect of the tablets. Would like to hear from anyone with similar experiences.

I think the herbal/diet/exercise route is by far the better way to go. I've had horrible reactions to four different \"classes\" of BP medications, including landing up in A&E with what had all the symptoms of a heart attack, but was actually the side effect of Lisinopril.
I was referred to a cardiac specialist who ran every possible check to make sure there were no physical causes, and prescribed Candesartan telling me I would have no problems with this one.
I did, so decided to find out everything I can, and have now got my BP down to acceptable levels by a combination of diet, exercise and supplements, and as a bonus, look and feel 100% better.
I experienced a lot of resistance and veiled hostility to my attitude when I complained that the side effects of the various medications were not acceptable to me as they interfered with my ability to earn a living and greatly lowered my quality of life. Because of this, I adopted a \"Don't ask, don't tell\" policy with the doctors, as I did not want to cut myself off from them completely.
I can recommend several excellent books and websites if anyone is interrested in trying an alternative way of dealing with this problem. Just let me know.

I always thought it affected my muscle tone all over and this in turn leads to poor sleep and sluggish bowels often (and frequecy of urination) I seem to have counteracted this with swimming and Yoga. My BP is under control now so I don't want to change again.
