i was diagnosed with PA many years ago but recently have been constantly getting ulcers on my tongue and burning gums. ive read that having PA can contribute to getting this. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

What you describe is just one of the many symptoms of Vitamin B 12 deficiency . You obviously need more regular B12 injections .This can happen over time. Your B12 blood serum readings have nothing to do with this, and should not be taken into account even if they are high . . You should also make sure that you supplement with a modest B9 tablet ( also known as folic acid) . . or better still, eat plenty of folate - containing vegetables . B9 works synergistically with B12 . I also suggest that you look at the Pernicious Anaemia Society website , where you will find many useful scientific articles about P.A. to help you .
