There are many using Cannabis oil for varying conditions . It's not had any bad feed back . Read up on it ,there is a site you can go to dedicated to it . I've gone and got Organic oil . It's a herb end of the day ,herbs are the basis from where medicines began ,until pharmacuticles got involvement to stopping people use of this herb .No wonder our med bills are so high ,shareholders clapping their hands seeing their dividends going up . This herb I believe will benifit all out there . Good luck on it if you go that way .

    Hi Karen

I have been taking this for over a month now and wearing a ladycare magnet and taking all sorts of vitamins , I have an under active thyroid as well as peri menopause. I do feel better , less anxious and my moods are happier but not sure what’s helping . No harm in trying it just research it first and watch if your taking other meds .

Thanks Claire, you’re right I checked the interactions and there are a few common drugs on the list including some antidepressants but thankfully not the one I’m on, so I think I’ll give it a go - so many good reviews, how do you take it drops or capsules ?

Yes I got those ones, the lower dose, took a couple of drops a couple of hours ago, no obvious effect yet, though my face did go quite hot - how long did it take for you to notice a change?

I bought the oil that you vape in e cigarette today i have tried it tonight and have to say I feel more relaxed. I'm trying it to see if it will ease muscle aches and bad health anxiety.

Hi Karen I have just started taking CBD oil but I got mine from the USA as it seems stronger on label readings I had read such good things about it but I have only been taking it for 2 days and so far haven't felt anything so time will tell plus it is expensive if it doesn't help in anyway but if it helps my mood and overall well being and insomnia I will find the money each month to get some sort of life back.

    Good luck

My thoughts exactly Karen - looks like we have move in common than our name! How much are you taking? I’ve just taken a few drops the past 2 evenings, I felt ok today - given I’m a week before my period I’m in my ‘peak pmt’ zone, so I’ve definitely felt worse, so it might be dong something..I’ll stick with it for at least a month and gradually increase to 2 times a day, as you say if it helps get me through this, I’ll find the money!! let’s keep each other updated on progress x

      Hi Karen

I am taking what it says on the label half a pipette twice a day and I'm the same due on in the next week, but I am also on HRT and have been for 9 months but to be honest i felt great at first but now my mood swings are bad and it did nothing for the insomnia yes it stopped my hot flushes with in a week but I am seriously thinking about coming off it as it's not really giving me much relief at all.  And as for the oil I will see how it goes but nothing as yet.

      Keep in touch

Hi Karen, I had the same experience with hrt tbh, it worked great for the first 5 months, I felt better than I had in years! Then suddenly all my symptoms came back, I pursued for 8 more months before I came off it - I was on the gel and it’s possible my skin didn’t absorb it well enough after a while, I don’t know really, I’ve got a blood test due at the start of my next period, so hopefully that will show where my hormones are at?? I think I’ll try the patches next time, with the mirena coil so I get constant levels, in the mean time I’ll keep dosing with this, I felt terrible this morning, but quite unexpectantly a lot more relaxed this afternoon - so here’s hoping it will help us, I’m desperate for a good nights sleep 😴😴😴

I am on HRT patches Everol conti and I had an implant but had that taken out last year which I'm so glad I did as it stopped my periods for two years and I suffered really bad migraines and real real bad mood swings, but since I had it removed my periods came back on a monthly basis and heavy. The worst symptom for me is the insomnia as I have suffered  this coming on two years and have tried everything. Can I ask how old you are?

Hi Karen, I’m not an expert or specialist but I have research this ALOT and I’ve read a few times that it is progesterone that encourages sleep and relaxation and oestrogen can be a bit of a ‘feel good’ stimulant, so posibly the hrt has made you oestrogen dominant ? If you’re not getting any better with the hrt then you should probably come off it, have a break and get your bloods done, and then reassess your hrt options, but don’t take my word for it, talk to your gp of course. I’m 41, going through this crap early - hoping I finish early as well! I’ve gone past he heavy period stage, and now they are starting to get really light, so I hope things will improve a bit then, today I feel good actually, so starting to believe the cbd oil might be doing something, how about you ? Xxx

Hi Karen I am 49 at the end of July and only really started with hot flushes and mood swings about a year ago like I say it's the insomnia I'm finding hard as it takes over my life as I have no energy. Going through a rough time at the moment had an high grade serve  pre cancerous cell change come back from my smear so had a colposcopy and a LLETZ procedure this morning and a biopsy has been taken so got to wait 3-4 weeks and I'm at the breast clinic tomorrow as I have a hard patch on my right breast that needs looking at so I will be glad to see the weekend to be honest.  Why can't being a women be simple !!!

Hope all is well with you still haven't felt any difference with taking the oil.

Hi Karen, sorry to hear you’re going through all this stress, at least they found the cells and can eliminate them, hopefully the breast tissue will be fine as well. Have you come off the hrt in light of all this? My dad used to say to me when I was a little girl when I couldn’t sleep that relaxing was as good as sleeping, so it’s something to think about when it’s tough, just try to relax, do some meditation or just focus on your breathing it might help. I have a couple of night a week where I get bad sleep, just try to keep myself busy, do loads of excercise the next day, so I’m knackered by the evening - sometimes works. I hate taking sleeping pills, they just make me more groggy the next day. This has been the hardest couple of years, I had to leave my job last summer when my symptoms were so bad - mainly sweating, intense anxiety and depression. I’ve been fighting it, and just trying to be thankful for the good days. The past few days have been really good for me..clear head, low anxiety, no depression or night sweats at all! Beginning to think it might be the cbd oil, because this is very unusual for me at this time of the month. I hope so, would be good to find some relief. Maybe it doesn’t really work on insomnia?, though I would try to continue with it until the bottle is finished, let me know how you get on xx

      Hi Karen

How you getting on with the oil? I stopped using mine the day before my LLetz procedure so that's 16 days ago just in case I needed to take any antibiotics as the oil can react to certain ones I read. I got my results back today and they got rid of all the pre cancerous cells and they found no Cancer 😆 got to have another smear in 6 months to check it's still clear.  So hopefully I will be able to go back on the oil soon and give it some time to get in my system.

Hi Karen, good to hear from you, glad to hear everything is ok, must be such a relief. I’ve had a tough past week, all my symptoms back unfortunately so I’m beginning to doubt whether the cbd oil is actually working and that I was just having some relief from the hormone madness! It doesn’t help that my 3 year old is waking me up at 5am every morning, I just find my self feeling panicky, sweating with palpitations, but I’m just hanging in there as these periods only tend to last around 10 days, and I’m on day 8! Taking the cbd oil twice a day now, and with pursue it for 3 months, tell me how you get on x
