Had carpal tunnel on my left hand this past May with no post op problems what so ever. Right hand was done November past. What a horror. Numbness I could never imagine. Dropping things. Think you could cut my index finger off and I wouldnt even knopw it. Anyone else like this. Thanks... What a mistake.

    That needs re-assessing with nerve conduction studies. Hopefully some were done before surgery for comparison. If the sensation in tha hand is much worse than before surgery it raises the possibility of nerve injury during ths operation. It is not unknown, though thankfully very rare, for the surgeon to accidentally cut the nerve. Get it seen to. Dr J Bland

    get back to your doctor ASAP! You know from experience with left hand that this isn't normal. Had my left hanbd done in December past. Also had cubital release at the same time (elbow). Doing pretty well-full use but does hurt if I overuse it by lifting heavy things. Need to have same on right hand soon. Let me know how you make out.
