cannot cry

40mg is making me feel a hell of alot better, I am so glad its working finally! Trouble is I still have such a horrible feeling that keeps coming and going. It is like the start of a panic attack but it never escilates. Its like the feeling you get when you try to stop yourself crying. Its as if I want to cry (but im not sure why) but something is stopping me. Ahhhh, its driving me a bit mad right now, I mean its a small thing compared to how I was feeling before but does anyone know what I am talking about or if this will pass?

    Hey Hightower,

Sorry I don't really know what u mean. Try and use different words or describe the situation u r in when it happens.

I haven't cried in ages, in fact I don't remember the last time I cried.

I'm on 40mg for 3 days now as well. Was on 20mg for 4weeks before.

How long did it take to work? I feel different every day.

    Hi NC

Wrote a reply and damn forum had logged me out. So here goes again.

I know what you mean. It's happened to me too. Why can't the flu let you finish the job. I've only cried twice since being on flu and wanted to so many more times but can't and it's really frustrating.

Find it's such a relief to blub but like other emotions it's suppressed by flu.

Sorry, i would have replied to your post earlier but was away with the fairies in loobyloo country until Friday evening.

    Take care xx

    Hi alw

How long have you been on 40mg?

The reason i ask is although i don't miss the ups and downs i had on 20mg, 40mg leaves emotions and everything so numb. I feel like i'm just existing. Wonder if you had these feelings when you switched. Have been on 40mg for nearly 2 weeks.

    Best wishes.

Hi Guys.I feel exactly the same.I have recently upped my dose to 40mg myself as I sort of guessed that is what my GP would do once I finally got back to telling her that I still feel like death warmed up.I think I may have been taking these things to long!!Im bloody self medicating now.I too feel as if I need a blimmin good cry.I watch sad movies, read sad books and all that rubish and NOTHING.I really dont like the feeling that all my emotions are being surpressed.I just want to be \"happy\".I dont even mind feeling a little sadness or stress at times but just not ALL THE TIME\".We are all in this together and since joining this site I feel better already.Whats say we bin the FLU and all book a hoilday.Maybe that is what we all need.Hope you feel better soon. You could always try hitting yourself on the thumb with a hammer but I would not recommend this.lol.xxx
