Please don't cry - if it is LS it loves stress. Best thing you can do is get it diagnosed by  a professional and work from there.

short term - anything with no chemicals. Paw Paw ointment, coconut oil, vitamen E oil, spritz with salt/water or bicarbonate/water after you go to loo.

    Good luck 😘

I don't recall that I looked different but doctor could tell. So be descriptive to your doctor about what you feel. Until then I suggest you moisturize. I use Aquaphor healing ointment found in the baby aisle. For the itching feeling you might get some relief from a Benadryl.

If it is LS, you will be prescribed a steroid and it should help with the problem. Talk to your doctor and insist on getting help. Don't suffer and don't distress.

Keep researching and take care of the issue. You'll be okay. You're not the only woman with this skin disorder so remember we're with you and support you on the site.

I cant go see a doctor now. I have a problem in the family and it has to wait a bit. Im really concerned and I want to know what it is at least. It got pretty swollen last night and it was red on one side, I cant not stress. Its mostly itchy at night, i take baths with bicarbonate soda, but its very annoying.

Awww don't cry, , go back to doctors tell them you want to be referred to dermatology, be careful what you put on it, my consultant at hospital told me not to put bicarbonate soda on it, its good u taking photos of it, I do that and I show the doctors at my surgery and at the hospital, u need some dermovate cream that will eases it, also water annoys it. Let me know me know how you get on, please don't be frightened. X

Not everything will work for everyone. I have had great success with bi carb/water mix in a spritz. With blessing of my gynaecologist. I would not suggest anything that would cause further irritation. I don't use anything long term and keep mixing it up. I've been in remission for 12 months. There is hope 😊

Best thing to do is go back to the doctor and get them to take a look. It may not be LS. Wether it is or not, wear cotton undies, washed with non-bio detergent, no fabric softener, give them an extra rinse to remove all traces of detergent. Use nothing soapy or fragranced in the bath or shower. Washing with Hydromol or E45, or plain emulsifying ointment is safest until you know what is causing this. They are all gentle and non-irritating. Ask your pharmacist for one of those. Emulsifying ointment is the most economical. Use a thin layer also as a barrier cream to protect you from the acidity and stinging urine can cause. Concentrate on getting treatment to make you more comfortable- don't stress because it'll make things worse. Stress and tears are great friends of LS and most other diseases/illnesses. Remember there is support here for you. Good luck.

It doesn't look like L S to me.  I wonder if it's skin damage due to itching.  There can be a lot of reasons why we itch there, especially in growing hairs, products etc or just being hot in warm weather.  Please don't stress, as stress does rubbish things to us, I should know I'm a stress head.  When I first found out I had L S i was terrible but with treatment my tissue has gone pink again.  Don't over google the worst images come up but not the images that have improved.
