Capsular release and debridement.

Hi all,

I'm new on here and just after any info out there.

I had subacromial decompression and lots of general tidying up on left shoulder Jan 2016. The recovery was very long and painful and only got full ROM in April of this year.

In March of this year 2017 I had similar on left shoulder with the addition of clavicle needing attention. My recovery was going extremely well up until July which the surgeon then done more investigations and decided I needed a rotatator cuff tear repaired. I went in for surgery in on 3rd August to be told afterwards that I only needed a capsular release with lots of debridement which I of course was very happy about. I stared physio the next week and I do my exercises 3 x daily and still having physio.

I'm nearly 6 weeks post op now and whilst my ROM is pretty good the pain has increased over the past week and is now beginning to be constant and I've needed to go back on strong pain meds.

Is this normal in this recovery or should I be worried as I was doing so well.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I would think if you have rotation everything is going well, better ask the doctor.
