Carafate/Sucralfate.

Got chronic Gastritis told by consultant to get sucralfate of my GP. Asked for it and was told they aren't licensed to give it out?? Got told by GP it's all politics and costs. Has anybody had this on NHS. I have to get a private prescription now of the consultant and pay for it. Anybody experienced this before. Thanks

    Hey what are your symptoms with chronic gastritis you constantly feel a slight stitch or pressure on your left upper side.

      I usually get it on the bottom right hand side. And everything else worse thing ever some good days some bad days it's horrible. I suggest you have endoscapy only way to tell if you have it.

      Here's what I don't get, I had an upper GI doesn't that go down into the stomach and wouldn't that be our guest writers is is in the stomach or are you saying you have to have a lower GI and gastritis can extend past the stomach and that's why you need a lower
