Just been told i have over active thyroid and put on Carbimazole 5mg a day and told the hospital will call to discuss what's next

    Hi John. How do you feel about taking carbimazole? I am scared to take it. The forum has informed me that everyone hates it and the weight gain is extreme and it can't be lost.

      I noticed a big change made me feel loads better and never put any weight on. I was only on 5Mg a day and after 27 days had another test and told it's normal.

      But having another on Tuesday to check again.

      PS i was also told i will end up with under active Thyroid later on.
