Cardiomyopathy. Anyone diagnosed but heart not declined?

Hello Everyone,

I have four brothers with dilated cardiomyopathy. I have been screened for years. Heart function dropped this year from 55 to 51 . I was told it may stay like this and I might never need medication. My four brothers had heart functions go down to 10, 11 % . I was just wondering if anyone out there has been diagnoised but not needed to be medicated and remained well? Need some hope.
