    Hello Ruggy

I've had carpal tunnel surgery done on both wrists and it made a big difference.

That was more than twenty years ago. When it first occured my hands would go

numb while driving to work and I would slap them on the steering wheel to get rid

of the tingling feeling. I trust your  recovery will be coplete.

    Wishing you good health, Alpine

Hello alpine thanks for replying i had my left hand done on the 10th April  i still have numbness in my thumb & 3 fingers the small one is ok i went back yesterday to see the surgen that operated and said it will take some time to get back to normal and the cut in the wrist is still sore i told him he said everything is going well so it set my mind at rest also because i was worried incase i should not be doing to much but he said to move the hand so i made some small balls with paper serviettes and squeezing my fingers round them doing this on both hands as i found my right hand was getting benefit too! as that needs to be operated on...thanks again ...

Like all things healing will take time. I have had numbness in my right hand and fingers on and off, for a while never needed the surgery though. Have had spinal surgery and even after over 30 yrs it is still tender to touch.

Hope your recovery is speedy. A couple of friends have had surgery for Carpal Tunnel and it was successful and they where glad to have it done.
