    Hi

sorry to hear you are suffering.

ask your Dr for a nerve conductivity test to confirm the diagnosis before you accept any treatment. The test will make sure they are treating the correct condition.Have you been given a splint to wear particularly at night?

    good luck Regards Elaine

I have carpal tunnel in both wrists for a long time and throughout past year have had 3 nerve conductivity tests to monitor the situation and worn splints at night on both wrists. It is only after splinting did not manage to stop the progression that I have decided to go for surgery. In prior years splinting did help improve the situation for periods of time. Good luck with finding a solution and hope you are pain free soon. smile

Definitely Tracey.   I would contact them and perhaps ask what side effects are normal to experience and over what period of time. Do let us know what they say and how you get on.  smile
