Hi every one

i have carpal tunnel release surgery on February 2015.

And I have ulnar nerve transposition on elbow at the same time. About six weeks after my surgery I got frozen shoulder and I'm in constant pain and discomfort. I'm doing occupational therapy for my wrist and elbow, and I will start physical therapy for my shoulder.

i also have scar tissue.

btw, the surgery was done on my left arm and wrist .

As if that's not enough now I can't bend my middle finger on the same hand and its tender.

abviousy, I'm worried.

any advice please.

ps. English is not my first lounguage so bare with me 😊

Hiya, I had my right hand operated on for CTS in November 2014. Operation went well and healing went smoothly, initially I had sharp pains in my middle fingers occasionally, but the "electric shocks" slowly disappeared and I no longer get them. Now 5 months later my hand still doesn't feel quite like my own. I have light "pins and needles" in my middle fingers nearly all the time and frequently wonder if I should not have had the operation.

But the surgeon claims it often takes a year for it all to settle down and I have spoken to enough people who have had the operation to know that in the long term it all USUALLY gets better!

Keep up the exercises, the finger wiggles (baby waves) and be patient. We all heal differently and at different rates. We all want to be that person that is instantly better, but few of us are. Take care and be positive.
