I had occasional floaters before surgery. They seemed fairly large, not dark, and out of focus. About 2-3 weeks after surgery I did notice a few smaller, darker, and I guess sharper particle looking things. I am 6 months out from surgery now, and I don't notice any at all. Even when they were there I would only see them up against a bright white sky or bright white comuter screen. I am happy they are gone, but they were not really a big deal even at the worst time.

I got floaters after cataract surgery. I remember when I first got them trying to swat away some fly. I wish it had been a fly.

For me, after time my brain seems to get use to them and you don't notice, but if I stop and think about it like right now I see them.
