Cataract Post-Surgery Vision Problem

Had laser assisted surgery on left eye two months ago and right eye a month and a half ago. Both my OD and surgeon tell me that I now have 20/20 in left eye and 20/25 in right.
However, I sometimes (intermittently) see a black vertical line to the temple side of each eye. Sort of like horse blinders. Doing online research, this could be a retina problem and/or droopy eyelid problem. The "droopy eye" problem is due to the clamp that was used to keep the eyelid open for eye surgery. Also read something about negative dysphotopsia (black line/cresent).
Am wondering, if it is due to "droopy eye", if a eyelid tightening serum would work. If it's a retina problem????
Comments, please.

Just a little FYI about my name "TRoper"........it stands for Team Roper, as in rodeo. I'm a former one of those.

Just talked to my Surgery Consultant that talked to my surgeon and this is the reply from my surgeon:
"Negative Dysphotopsias rarely occurs after surgery and we are not clear as to the exact cause. They are not however caused by lid speculums or droopy eye lids. The good news is that they do go away on their own without treatment and are not a sign of anything bad. It may take up to 6 months for them to disappear."
Now, tomorrow I will call my OD and see if his office has contacted the surgeon about the retina "thing" he seen during his exam. If my problem is due to the retina, I surely don't want to wait 6 months to see if these black lines go away.
Well, let's see, pre-surgery I wasn't told a thing, nor was it listed in any information given me, about any problems that could happen post-surgery. I had to research these things like, droopy eyelid due to the spectrum instrument used to stretch eyelid for the eye surgery, negative dysphotopsia and that the retina could become detached due to the surgery.
Still thinking about getting the eyelid strengthening serum to possibly increase the strength of the eyelid muscle that completely opens the eye. That muscle could have been loosened due to the spectrum eyelid stretcher.
Anymore help here would be greatly appreciated.

I have an appointment with a retina specialist later this month. On my OD's last post-op exam (Dec 4th), he stated:
Ophthalmoscopy Right Eye......Periphery: Pigmented retinal hole with floater above hole @ 11 o'clock.
I don't see an "floaters", but still see the black vertical line on the temporal side of each eye sometimes. I now have an eyepatch, that I read online can be used to possibly control (make disappear?) the black lines.
Think I'll wait until I see this specialist, before trying anything, like the eyepatch.
