It will be a week tomorrow since my surgery and my vision is extremely blurry. I can see light but have trouble seeing objects. Has this happened to anyone else ?

    Hi

A lot of complications can cause vision to be blurry, many things will get better as time goes by on its own, but some things needs to be taken care of.

Many people have tried to have blurry vision for weeks and still end up with a very good result.

But if you have that poor vision one week after surgery, I think you should contact your eye clinic, and get their opinion, they are the ones who knows your eyes, and if there are anything special in your case.

My wife's left eye took 1 plus week.

    Right eye about 3 weeks.

What type of lens do you have. Do you sometimes see sharp near or far temporarily?

I just have a standard lens. I have Fuchs dystrophy in that eye. it affects my cornea and how well it pumps fluid out of my eye. I am worried that could be the problem I see a lot of bright light but can't make out objects very well.

Is it constantly blurry or does it fluctuate? For some people the drops can cause vision to be blurry but as I understand it - vision fluctuates. If you have concerns might be a good idea to contact clinic and ask to have someone take a look. There could be swelling or another reason for blurriness.

      Cindy 25335,

How are you doing with the vision problem? Is it better? Hopefully it is ok now. I hadn't read your post before and just looked at this.

If your vision is that blurry, I would go to the doctor and get it checked out.
