I've been really lucky to be honest, no fusing and no real flares ups since I started fasting, I hope this has helped, certainly has with my weight - 2.7 stone off since November - slow and steady xx

I have no children and have never had any trauma or surgery in the genital region.
I have LS pretty mild I think and was diagnosed by a savvy GP at my local surgery. Never suffered from thrush or similar conditions before LS.
I have occasional flare ups when I eat too much junk food, during my period, get stressed or my immune system is down when I get ill which thankfully is not often.
Interestingly I have found my skin has improved while being on antidepressants. But that could be linked to making me feel less anxious.
Hope this helps

I've been wondering if my psoriasis has been 100% clear the whole year I've been using potent steroid cream for LS – whether just enough gets into my sytem to cut the cycle of psoriasis flares. Thank you, 'Big Pharma', I'll take that!

My thyroid didn't wish to be balanced after RAI at all. But since the adrenal glands have been treated with meds, both are much better. The two are linked. And Adrenal glands help a person with the stress element in life, among other. One can imagine that I was un able to handle any stress prior. And in case stress is truly a big element with LS, then certainly the adrenal -thyroid issue could have had this LS result. Add the hysterectomy 'for good measure' and you 'have a ball'.
By the way - this whole ordeal of thyroid and adrenals took about thirty years to figure out.

when I was in the throes of research, there was a link between atrophic rhinitus, wiki statesone cause to be: Autoimmune: viral infection or some other unidentified insult may trigger antigenicity of the nasal mucosa.
My bloods always come back as normal though? Or are they testing for the wrong thing? Any advise would be welcome x

I had a nasal polyp that hung from the top of my nose down outside the nostril when I was 13, I had a bit of a brute of a Father who snipped at it continuously with scissors and after a while it went away.
I am now suffering with rhinitis and need an operation to fix the damage in there (I have no middle turbinate) also my septum is out of line, I get a lot of hard mucus and sometime choke in the night,
After researching (seem to spend a lot of time doing research these days) I have found some information:
Turbinate dysfunction is linked to Asthma and Hypothyroidism
There is also Hormonal Rhinitis which usually means you have increased estrogen levels....
I'm pretty sure my numerous ailments which are now predominantly
Underactive thyroid
Rhinitis
Lichen Sclerosis
are all linked with a hormone imbalance and auto immune. Doctors appointment on the 19th will hopefully shed some light on the situation or i'm pushing to see a specialist x

I have just received my blood results and ALL are WELL with in normal boundaries- Thryoid fine cholesterol great etc etc. I acquired asthma after stoppng smoking and inhaling black fungal spores - silly thing to do-. I have a crooked nose - probably deviated septum - i have spina bifida obscura(ie only seen on xray and otherwise asymptomatic) a bifurcated uterous- so a wonky nose is just another bit out of alignment i guess! The things that make my nose itch causes thick mucous , with polyp- mouth breathing - asthma - spasm-
Does your father know - or did he - know how much angst he put you thro?, i have flaring nostrils thin lips and staring eyes at the thought of him and his treatment of you

Good news with your bloods, is that just regular ones or any more specific.
